In this role youll:



Reporting to the Executive Director Workplaces within the People Communications and Workplaces Division this pivotal leadership role is responsible for shaping and delivering workplace services that support Transports strategic objectives culture and employee experience.

You will lead a team responsible for delivering workplace operations across Transports owned and leased portfolio overseeing a wide range of services including facilities management & services security asset management whilst driving compliance and sustainability outcomes.

Equally important you will champion initiatives that create safe inclusive and high-performing workplaces that enhance employee experience and support organisational transformation.

As a seasoned and influential leader you will play a key role in building strong partnerships across the organisation fostering collaboration and creating an engaged and customer-focused culture. You will lead through change bring people together around a common purpose and inspire teams to deliver outstanding outcomes aligned with Transports values and strategic direction.

This permanent position is based in Macquarie Park and operates under Transports hybrid working model which combines minimum 50% onsite attendance with approved remote working arrangements.

About you



You are an experienced and authentic leader with a demonstrated ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams through complexity change and transformation. You have a strong track record of creating high-performing engaged and inclusive workplace cultures where people feel valued supported and empowered to perform at their best.

With tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in workplace operations facilities management security or a related discipline across large/diverse property portfolios.

You are recognised for your ability to:

Lead strategically while driving operational excellence service performance and customer outcomes.
Build trusted partnerships and foster a collaborative accountable and high-performing culture.
Lead and develop diverse teams through change maintaining workforce stability and performance.
Drive continuous improvement commercial outcomes and informed decision-making across a complex operating environment.

You will possess exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills coupled with the ability to influence at executive level navigate ambiguity and build alignment across diverse business groups. Most importantly you are a visible and values-driven leader who can bring people together strengthen organisational culture and create an environment where teams can thrive.
