The FRRD (Fitch Ratings Research and Data) Sales Specialist will be responsible for leading new business and cross sell sales efforts in Australia and New Zealand. This strategic role will create and execute a sales strategy focused on our Ratings Credit Research and our Financial Data & Analytics offerings into new and existing accounts. This individual will bring a hunter mindset to identify opportunities and own the progression of these opportunities through to win.

How Youll Make an Impact:
- Drive revenue growth through direct client engagement - managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to negotiation and closing deals with a strong focus on new business development.
- Contribute with the account managers to expand existing client relationships and contribute to the development of long-lasting client relationships.
- Become a subject matter expert both in the industries you cover and the solutions Fitch has to offer to our clients
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to increase market share in the region
- Liaise and collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to support your clients needs

- Self-starter with ability to build his/her own pipeline from day one
- Proactivity enthusiasm and resilience
- Ability to negotiate as well as articulate product value proposition and competitive advantage
- Sales/business development experience within the broader financial market (e.g. fixed income risk management) leading to a network in Australia and New Zealand.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and company events
- Excellent communication skills
What Would Make You Stand Out:
- Demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Good knowledge of the Credit Risk workflow (risk management requirements in strategic decision making risk identification risk quantification / quantitative modelling processes regulatory requirements)
- Understand credit risk management processes and regulatory guidelines that require the use of credit ratings and be able to link them to our products
- Self-motivated able to generate ideas and demonstrate initiative tenacity and perseverance
- An articulate personable and energetic self-starter
- Fluency in both written and verbal forms of English
