Job Summary
Director of Teaching & Learning South eastern suburbs
SchoolHouse is working in partnership with a small Early Learning & Primary school located in the inner south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The school aims to achieve excellence by providing a vibrant educational environment fostering a harmonious working relationship between students teachers and parents and where each child is recognised as an individual with unique abilities and talents.
Role Highlights
- Director of Teaching & Learning
- Ensure a seamless progression of curriculum & pedagogy from ELC to Year 6
- Oversee the implementation of programs for students continuous learning improvement
- Plan and implement processes to foster innovation and excellence in teaching & learning
- Commencing as soon as possible (start date negotiable)
- Part time (0.8FTE); Permanent

Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Masters of Teaching / Bachelor of Education / PGCE)
- An additional Master of Education preferred but not essential
- Proven experience with the Australian Curriculum across Foundation to Year 6
- Demonstrated leadership experience as Head of Department Curriculum Coordinator or similar
- Experience in both explicit and inquiry-based learning approaches
- Current VIT registration (or eligibility to gain)
- Working Rights for Australia (or eligibility to gain) including Skilled Migrant visa
