Key Responsibilities:

• Develop future focused innovative pastoral care curriculum to be used across the School.
• Plan and implement the Secondary School student behaviour management and wellbeing program overseeing student presentation rewards and sanctions in consultation with the Heads of House and Wellbeing team.
• In consultation with the Head of Secondary and Principal & CEO plan and run Assembly programs major events and the House/Assembly Time schedule.
• Oversee the Secondary weekly duty roster and daily relief schedule liaising with the Student Services Officer Reliefs.
• Be a teaching staff advisor to the Student Executive and Year 11 Leadership Team attending meetings overseeing Student Executive election voting and activities.
• Hold a part-time teaching load in a relevant subject area. Prepare and implement effective assessments to track and report on student progress and differentiate lessons to meet the diverse needs of our students ensuring all learners are supported and challenged.
• Communicate effectively with parents guardians and colleagues regarding student academic and wellbeing progress.
• Responsible for day-to-day operations of students activities and associated logistics and daily notices.
• Team Leadership of wellbeing team.

Essential Requirements:

• Current registration with the WA Teachers Registration Board.
• Valid Working with Children card or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge and experience of the WA Curriculum.
• Willingness to contribute to wider school programs including co-curricular camps or other school-based activities.
• Understand of best-practice positive Behaviour Management Education Systems and processes
