The Opportunity

As the Diesel Fitter you will:

• Perform servicing repairs and preventative maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
• Complete breakdown repairs fault finding and component change-outs safely and efficiently.
• Utilise OEM manuals technical bulletins and computer-based systems to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and promote a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with the broader maintenance team to improve equipment reliability and performance.

About you

• Australian recognised Heavy Diesel Fitter trade qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years post-trade experience within mining or heavy earthmoving environments.
• Experience maintaining CAT and/or Hitachi mobile equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Desirable:

• Experience with vehicle air-conditioning systems.
• HR Drivers Licence.
