Wereseeking a Deputy Sustainment Project Manager to support the delivery and ongoing availability of a critical Defence capability based in Adelaide.

WhatYoullDo

As a Deputy Sustainment Project Manager you will support the day-to-day coordination of sustainment activities that ensure critical Defence capabilityremainsavailableeffectiveand fit with Defence product teams industrypartnersand technical specialistsyoullcontribute to planning reportingfinancial managementand stakeholder coordination activities that support successful capability outcomes.

This role offers exposure to complex Defence environments senior stakeholders and long-term capability programs while providing opportunities to further develop your project management and sustainmentexpertise.

This role offers a broad scope with keyroleresponsibilities including:

  • Support the planningcoordinationand delivery of sustainment activities across a complexDefence capability.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of project planningreportingand performance management processes.
  • Monitor project schedules risksissuesand financial performance.
  • Prepare briefs reportscorrespondenceand committee submissions to support decision-making


WhatYoullBring

  • Experience supporting projects sustainment activities or complex programs within DefenceGovernmentor industry environments.
  • Strong organisational planning and coordination skills.
  • Experience preparing reportsbriefsand stakeholder communications.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Due to the nature of the work youare required tocurrentlyhold andmaintainan AGSVASecurity clearance as required by the some instances compliance withInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)requirements mayalsobean inherent requirement.
