Requirements
- Several years of classroom teaching experience ideally across primary and/or secondary settings
- Prior experience in a leadership or coordination role such as Head of Department Senior Teacher Assistant Principal or equivalent
- Experience mentoring early-career or provisionally registered teachers
- Experience supporting teachers who are skilled but new to the Australian education context
- Experience engaging with parents and community stakeholders including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds
- Experience in student wellbeing behaviour management and pastoral care systems
- Experience in school growth or change management contexts highly desirable
- Ability and desire to actively support the values and ethos of the school
- Current Working with Vulnerable People registration in the ACT
