Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting our dentists and oral health therapists chairside during treatment
• Preparing treatment rooms and setting up instruments before appointments
• Sterilising instruments and following infection control protocols
• Welcoming patients and helping them feel comfortable throughout their visit
• Managing appointment bookings recalls and patient records
• Answering calls and patient enquiries
• Supporting patients with questions around appointments treatment and payments
• Assisting with general administration across the practice
• Working closely with the clinical and reception teams to provide a smooth patient experience

Qualifications :

To succeed in the role you will bring:

• A professional positive attitude and strong attention to detail
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine interest in building a long-term career in dentistry
• Dental Assistant or Reception experience ideally within a dental or medical setting (preferred not essential)
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting or a willingness to work towards one (advantageous)
• A warm professional manner and strong communication skills
• Confidence using computers and learning new systems
• A reliable team-focused approach
• A willingness to learn and work across both clinical and reception duties
