Dental Assistant 1300SMILES Gladstone

As a Dental Assistant youll play an important role in supporting our clinicians and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting dentists and clinicians during procedures and with patient care
• Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms and equipment
• Sterilising instruments and following infection control procedures
• Helping patients feel comfortable and cared for
• Keeping the clinical environment clean organised and ready for patients
• Supporting the wider practice team with administrative tasks when required

Qualifications :

To succeed in the role you will bring:

• A warm approachable manner and a natural ability to put patients at ease
• A willingness to learn and take on new challenges
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused approach
• Good organisation and attention to detail
• Availability to work across the Monday to Saturday roster
• Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting or previous dental experience is highly regarded but not essential.
