Working under the direction of the Head Chef the Demi Chef assists with food preparation cooking plating and kitchen organisation while maintaining strict hygiene safety and agedcare compliance standards. Support the Head and Sous Chefs in daily kitchen operations and food service. Help maintain the highest standards of food safety kitchen hygiene and compliance. Step up and lead sections of the kitchen developing your supervisory skills. Contribute ideas to menus and help create a dining experience that brings joy to our Youll Need: Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience. Several years of cooking experience in a commercial kitchen. Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain). A passion for food and a genuine desire to learn and take on more responsibility. Strong teamwork communication and time-management skills.
