Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate Casual Demi Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team working across Sola Restaurant & Bar and Banquets. This is a fantastic opportunity to build your experience across à la carte dining and large-scale events while working alongside experienced chefs.
Youll support food preparation and service develop your cooking skills and contribute to delivering high-quality dining experiences across the resort.
What youll do:
- Prepare and present dishes across hotel outlets
- Assist with à la carte buffet and event service.
- Support daily mise-en-place and kitchen preparation.
- Work closely with senior chefs to deliver consistent quality dishes.
- Assist with different kitchen sections and service requirements.
- Maintain high standards of food safety hygiene and kitchen presentation.
- Support a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.
Qualifications :
What were looking for:
- Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or relevant experience.
- Previous Demi Chef or similar kitchen experience is highly regarded.
- À la carte experience with exposure to banquets advantageous.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Strong organisation and time management skills.
- Positive attitude with a genuine passion for food and hospitality.
- Willingness to learn develop and take direction.
- Flexibility to work a casual roster including evenings weekends and public holidays.
