We are seeking an experienced and passionate Demi Chef to join the culinary team at our luxury beachfront hotel. Perfectly positioned on the beachfront this is an exciting opportunity for a passionate chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and enjoys the variety of both à la carte service and large-scale events.

What Youll Be Doing

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes across à la carte banquets buffet and room service.
• Organise and manage your assigned section to ensure smooth service.
• Maintain food quality consistency and presentation in line with recipes and standards.
• Ensure food safety hygiene stock rotation and minimal wastage.
• Keep kitchen areas clean organised and equipment well maintained in accordance with HACCP requirements.
• Support and mentor junior team members while working collaboratively with the wider Kitchen team.

Qualifications :

About You! You are a passionate and motivated chef who takes pride in producing quality food and thrives in a busy service-focused environment. You enjoy working as part of a supportive team and have:

• Previous experience as a Demi Chef in a hotel or busy restaurant
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
• Energetic reliable and thrives in a fast-paced coastal luxury setting
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
• A team-focused attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond for guests
• Valid Australian Working Rights / Visa is essential
