Demi Chef

Join Cliveden Dining as a Demi Chef and play a vital role in supporting kitchen operations by preparing and presenting high-quality dishes with creativity and flair. Assist senior chefs in menu preparation stock control and maintaining cleanliness while upholding the highest food hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present menu items consistent with hotel standards and cost margins

• Assist with stock rotation ordering and minimising food wastage

• Maintain a clean tidy and safe kitchen environment

• Support senior chefs with daily kitchen and event operations

• Train and support junior kitchen staff as needed

• Follow health safety and food hygiene policies strictly

Qualifications :

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Trade qualification in commercial cookery or equivalent

• Previous experience as a Demi Chef or Commis Chef in a busy kitchen

• Strong teamwork communication and multitasking skills

• Flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings evenings weekends and public holidays

• Full legal work rights to work in Australia to be considered for this role
