ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE:
In this rewarding opportunity you will join the St Vincents Private Hospital Melbourne (SVPHM) team as a Day Procedure Registered Nurse (Theatres) within our Kew campus.
This role is available on a part time fixed term basis working 22.5 hours per week. The role will be for 3 months initially with the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the fixed term. You will be pivotal in delivering safe efficient and high-quality perioperative care that supports seamless patient flow from admission through to discharge in our Day Procedures Unit and operating theatres.
You will bring your passion for patient-centred care teamwork and clinical excellence working closely with surgeons anaesthetists theatre nurses PACU and perioperative leadership to ensure every patient experience reflects the values and standards of St Vincents Health Australia.

ABOUT YOU:
As an outstanding Day Procedures Nurse you are a confident compassionate and adaptable Registered Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced perioperative environment and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Your skills and experience will include:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated experience in perioperative day surgery (Admissions Stage 2 and 3) PACU or acute clinical settings.
Strong clinical assessment patient education and discharge planning skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary environment.
Commitment to quality safety and continuous improvement.
