Working closely with business leaders technical teams and reporting analysts youll transform business challenges into practical data solutions that improve decision-making and deliver meaningful organisational outcomes.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Director Data and Decision Support you will partner with stakeholders across the business to understand priorities define requirements and design data solutions that support strategic objectives. Youll work at the intersection of business technology and analytics helping turn complex data into actionable insights that drive performance across Epworth

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Data Business Analyst who enjoys stakeholder engagement solution design and project delivery in a collaborative healthcare environment.

You will:

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities define business problems and gather requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories process maps business rules and technical documentation
  • Work closely with Reporting Analysts and Data Governance teams to develop meaningful reporting KPIs and dashboards
  • Support solution design business case development and data-led decision making
  • Contribute to project delivery across Agile and Waterfall environments
  • Facilitate testing user acceptance activities and stakeholder engagement
  • Deliver training documentation and support to improve data literacy across the organisation

About You

You will be a highly capable and motivated professional with strong interpersonal organisational and stakeholder management skills supported by excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated and adaptable you will thrive in fast-paced environments demonstrate sound judgement and integrity communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and be committed to continuous improvement quality outcomes and exceptional customer service.

To be successful you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business Data Information Systems or a related discipline
  • Business Analysis qualifications or equivalent experience
  • 3 years experience in Business Analyst roles with strong background in healthcare
  • Strong requirements gathering process mapping and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience exploring and validating data using SSMS BigQuery or similar cloud data platforms
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations performance drivers and reporting environments
  • Experience working within Agile and project delivery frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with dashboard and reporting development will be highly regarded
