About the role:

This is an exciting Data Analyst role in a collaborative high exposure data team at Shift. As a Data Analyst youll work across the full breadth of our business Product Operations Credit Treasury Risk and Marketing transforming data into insights that drive real decisions. Our small supportive team moves quickly so your effort makes an impact from day one and theres real room for growth and learning.

What youll do:

• Analyse and interpret data to answer meaningful business questions across different teams

• Help develop user-friendly dashboards and analytical tools that improve on static reports

• Turn complex findings into clear actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders

• Act as a bridge between business teams and the data/engineering group translating ideas into analytical tasks

• Spot new opportunities to apply data and predictive analytics across the company

• Support colleagues with self-serve reporting tools and help them understand their data

• Seek out process-improvement opportunities including using AI tools to boost speed and accuracy

What youll bring:

• 03 years experience in a data analytics or similar role (recent grads welcome!)

• A strong interest in numbers and analysis - through your studies projects or work background

• Working knowledge of SQL; bonus points for exposure to Python Tableau or Salesforce

• Familiarity with AI tools (such as ChatGPT Claude Copilot) and a willingness to experiment with new tech

• Confidence working with numbers and large datasets

• Clear communication skills you can explain what the data says to someone from any team

• A curious mindset eagerness to learn and a team first attitude
