Key Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and development of AI and data solutions ensuring they align with business objectives and enterprise strategies.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to define IT strategies that leverage emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Solution Development: Oversee the development and implementation of software solutions applying best practices in software engineering AI and data management.
• Systems Design: Develop comprehensive systems designs that meet current needs and provide a foundation for future scalability and adaptability.
• Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical specialist in AI and data technologies guiding teams in the application of advanced methodologies and tools.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with key stakeholders translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms for diverse audiences.
• Innovation and Improvement: Foster a culture of innovation by monitoring emerging technologies and driving continuous improvement in processes and methodologies.
• Governance and Compliance: Ensure all solutions adhere to company policies quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop team members building organizational capability and promoting professional growth.
• Change Management: Lead change implementation planning and management to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
• Extensive experience (8 years) in solution or enterprise architecture roles.
• Proven track record in designing and delivering complex AI and data solutions at an enterprise level.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure and familiarity with infrastructure as code and DevOps practices.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in programming and software development languages (e.g. Python C#).
• Strong understanding of systems design data modeling and data management principles.
• Familiarity with modern development frameworks and tools including Angular or React or Vue.
• Understanding and experience with GitHub and CI/CD using GitHub Actions.
• Docker AWS and Azure Cloud.
• Snowflake and IoT data such as MQTT and Kafka.
• Understanding of contemporary and traditional AI frameworks OpenAI and Bedrock services.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Experience in organizational capability development and team building.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to monitor and leverage emerging technologies to drive innovation.
• Experience with quality management and governance frameworks.
