Role Description
This is an internship role for a Cybersecurity Intern at SeComPass Limited. The Cybersecurity Intern will be provided training on risk management application security network security information security and cyber security. This hybrid role is located in Melbourne VIC and has the flexibility to do some remote training.
This intern position is unpaid and is focused on getting the current or recently passed-out students industry-ready. Please take a look at our industry internship program on our website. It can be worked with the students for their capstone project or during the break. It is part-time for around 5 months to teach all the job skills including report writing etc.
Some Expectations (dont worry if all of them are not met)
- Some Application Security Cybersecurity Network Security Information Security and Cyber skills
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
- Experience with risk assessment and vulnerability management
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security CySA) are a plus
- Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
