Job Summary
Customer Service Officer
- Permanent part-time role 32 hours four days per week.

In this role you will
- Provide accurate and timely information to the community and Council staff.
- Build strong relationships across Council departments.
- Assist in enhancing systems and processes and suggest ways to make each interaction agood customer experience.
- Work collaboratively with the Librarian and Library Customer Service Officer to assist with library returns reservations queries statistical data and internet bookings.
- Ensure public access materials notices and resources are maintained and easily accessible and internal spaces are clean and well-maintained.
What were looking for
- Successful completion of VCE or equivalent or a Certificate III in Administration anddemonstrated skills and experience in a customer service role.
- Exceptional presentation and verbal and written communication skills.
- Digital literacy skills including up-to-date knowledge of computer programs and officeequipment.
- Ability to multitask manage your time and deal with challenging situations.
- A willingness to learn all aspects of the role including cash and EFTPOSpayments form processing and hands-on library duties.
A current Australian Drivers license full Australian working rights and a current Victorian Working with Children Check are essential for this role.
