Customer Service Officer
- Permanent Part-time role 32 hours per week 4 days per week (Mon-Fri).
- $36-$38 per hour pay range.

About the role
- Be the first point of contact for Council delivering excellent customer service across phone in-person and online channels.
- Resolve enquiries efficiently while building positive relationships with the community and staff.
- Manage cashiering receipting reconciliations and daily banking activities accurately.
- Provide administrative and library support.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and always ensuring a welcoming environment.
What were looking for
- Experience delivering high-quality customer service ideally within local government or a similar environment.
- Strong multitasking time management and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage enquiries across multiple channels.
- Excellent communication and computer skills with confidence using office systems and technology.
- A positive adaptable attitude and willingness to learn all aspects of the role including payments processing administration and library services.
- Full Australian working rights drivers license and Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain one).
