The Company

This medium sized powder coating & industrial paint operator business with approx 50 staff and multiple production lines operating are the leading one-stop shop for all architectural industrial and domestic applications.

As the accredited coater of choice for our customers this important role is responsible for the performance of all factory production at our Chipping Norton (NSW) facility to produce quality work including responsibility for:

  • Safety & Environment
  • Performance and supervision of workers
  • Controlling work in progress
  • Implementation of efficient work practices to optimise factory performance
  • Manage chemical pre-treatment systems
  • Operating plant and equipment settings
  • Managing consumables and packing

The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring seamless communication between customers sales and production teams while maintaining accurate timelines and delivering exceptional service.

Youll play a key role in managing production order ETAs coordinating workflows and ensuring project updates are being tracked monitored and communicated to relevant stakeholders. This is a fast-paced hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing construction or production warehouse type environment.

Key Responsibilities may include:

  • Act as the central point of communication between customers sales and factory teams
  • Provide accurate and timely ETA updates to clients throughout the production process
  • Follow up with customers via phone email and internal systems to ensure smooth job progression
  • Oversee job intake and ensure job cards are processed efficiently and accurately
  • Coordinate with Sales Factory and Stores to support operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate data entry and administrative records
  • Monitor workflows to support KPI achievement and continuous improvement
The Successful candidate will have:
  • Proven experience in customer service and administrative support roles
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator able to adapt your style to different clients and stakeholders
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Experience working towards KPIs and handling data entry tasks
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook Word)
