Job Summary

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering Business or a related discipline. A Masters degree or MBA will be highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience in consulting engineering or technical project delivery including significant customer-facing or business development responsibilities.
  • Proven success in winning new business and expanding customer relationships within competitive markets.
  • Deep understanding of Resources Sector customers and decision-making processes with demonstrated experience delivering solutions that achieve customer outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen supported by experience in consulting project delivery practice growth and strategic account leadership.
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment balancing multiple priorities and navigating ambiguity with resilience and creativity.
  • Deep expertise in engineering consulting or a related technical field with the ability to assess complex problems and identify innovative solutions.

Our Customer Engagement Partner Resources occupies a pivotal role at the intersection of technical excellence strategic delivery and customer-centric leadership for Worley Consulting. This position is responsible for spearheading growth by identifying and connecting internal capabilities to solve customers most complex technical challenges and sponsoring project delivery excellence.

With a deep understanding of both the resources sector customer landscape and Worleys extensive expertise the Customer Engagement Partner forges new relationships sustains existing partnerships and shapes strategic growth for enduring impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead growth within the assigned customer portfolio and sector focus in alignment with Worleys Resources Sector strategy and Customer Account Plans.
  • Oversee and actively manage a diverse portfolio of customers ensuring high levels of satisfaction and long-term engagement.
  • Champion Worleys brand in the marketplace leveraging internal capabilities to win new business and reinforce our reputation as a trusted advisor.
  • Partner with Operations and Sales Partners to drive revenue and gross margin growth across the assigned customer portfolio.
  • Proactively identify access and mobilise the breadth of technical expertise within Worley to resolve complex customer challenges.
  • Build strong collaborative relationships across all levels and disciplines within Worley acting as a connector between teams and fostering a culture of shared knowledge and mutual support.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Worleys technical capabilities and translate these capabilities into customer solutions whilst remaining abreast of emerging technologies trends and methodologies.
  • Act as Executive Project Sponsor for key engagements ensuring alignment with customer expectations and supporting delivery teams to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Partner with Consulting leaders to address major business issues ensuring a unified approach to problem solving and customer engagement.
  • Recognise market trends and capability requirements collaborating with P&L leadership to proactively plan workforce needs and skill development initiatives.
  • Lead the communication and presentation of complex technical proposals ensuring clarity influence and strategic alignment with customer objectives.
  • Co-develop growth strategies with the P&L Leader and lead their execution across the assigned customer portfolio.
