About The Role

As Course Manager you will lead the coordination and continuous improvement of vocational education and training programs including foundation skills and community-based learning initiatives. Working closely with trainers students and community stakeholders you will:

  • Provide educational leadership and support to training teams
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with Aboriginal communities and organisations
  • Ensure programs are inclusive culturally responsive and aligned to community needs
  • Drive student engagement retention and success
  • Oversee compliance quality and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to innovative program design and delivery

What Were Looking For

Youre a collaborative and empathetic leader who:

  • Has experience in vocational education and training and program management
  • Is passionate about closing gaps in educational access and outcomes
  • Demonstrates genuine commitment to working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Brings strong communication relationship-building and leadership skills
  • Understands quality frameworks (ASQA) and values high-quality compliant delivery

Essential Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
  • Experience leading teams and managing training programs
  • A strong belief in the potential of every learner
  • Cultural awareness and the ability to work respectfully across diverse communities
  • Current Working With Children Check and National Criminal History Check
  • First Aid Certificate (desirable)
  • C Class Drivers Licence

Location: Nowra with travel across the Illawarra Shoalhaven
