Agreement: Hobart City Council Enterprise Agreement 2024
Salary range: $91138 to $99635 per annum 13.5% superannuation
You will also receive commuter rights of a motor vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage field staff and contractors to achieve effective service delivery.
- Deliver maintenance renewal and capital works programs across bushland assets.
- Coordinate resources equipment and materials to support operations.
- Monitor infrastructure and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate brings proven experience in coordinating bushland or natural area infrastructure programs with strong leadership capability and a practical hands-on approach to delivering operational outcomes. The successful candidate will be a collaborative communicator with sound judgement. They will balance safety environmental considerations and service delivery while effectively managing people resources and competing priorities.
Key Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage field-based teams and contractors.
- Strong experience delivering infrastructure maintenance renewal and capital works in natural area settings.
- Effective planning coordination and problem-solving skills in operational environments.
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Qualifications and Licences
- Diploma or Certificate IV in Natural Area Management Parks Management or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Current drivers licence.
