Cook Breakfast Shifts
Job Summary
Oaks Cairns Hotel are looking for a passionate and reliable Cook Breakfast shifts to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis.
This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of the breakfast service preparing and delivering high-quality dishes and helping provide an exceptional dining experience for guests.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare and deliver a high-quality breakfast buffet service.
- Handle opening preparation and station setup.
- Maintain food safety hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure excellent presentation of meals before service.
- Maintain strong communication between Front and Back of House.
- Support team members to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
- Keep the kitchen clean organised and compliant with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Breakfast service: 5:30am 11:30am
- 3 to 5 shifts per week including weekends as required
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):
Monday - Friday: $27.08 per hour
Saturday: $33.85 per hour
Sunday: $40.62 per hour
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Minimum 12 months experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role.
- Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Positive proactive attitude and genuine passion for cooking.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts including weekends and public holidays.
