About the Role

Working closely with the commercial and project delivery teams you will support the management of project costs contracts procurement activities and subcontractor administration across the project lifecycle. Whether youre an experienced Contracts Administrator looking for your next challenge an emerging commercial professional or a recent graduate seeking exposure to a major infrastructure project this role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your commercial capability within a high-performing Alliance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer project costs subcontractor agreements and commercial documentation
  • Prepare assess and manage variations claims and extension of time (EOT) submissions
  • Review and process subcontractor progress claims and payment assessments
  • Assist with procurement activities including scopes of work subcontract packages and quotation evaluations
  • Monitor project costs commitments and forecasts to support commercial outcomes
  • Prepare progress claims reporting and cost-to-complete forecasts
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients subcontractors and project stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate commercial records and contract documentation
  • Support compliance with contractual obligations notice requirements and project governance processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold Georgious HSEQ standards and values

Your Skills and Experience

  • Experience as a Contracts Administrator Contract Administrator Quantity Surveyor Commercial Graduate or in a similar commercial role within construction engineering or infrastructure
  • Alternatively a recent graduate with a relevant tertiary qualification and a strong interest in commercial project delivery will be considered
  • Understanding of subcontract administration procurement and cost control processes
  • Exposure to claims variations and contract administration is advantageous
  • Strong commercial acumen and willingness to learn
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Excel
  • Experience using systems such as COINS Aconex or similar platforms is advantageous
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management Quantity Surveying Engineering Commerce or a related discipline is desirable
