Contract Manager

As our Contract Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of turf and garden management quality control staff development and compliance throughout our facilities.

Reporting to the State Manager you will work closely with clients and internal staff to ensure that all contracts are executed efficiently and effectively. Your extensive knowledge of maintenance practices as well as your strong organisational and leadership abilities will be key to your success.

You should have a strong background in turf or horticultural management with proven experience in leading teams meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results to clients. Strong communication skills are essential as you will need to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing improvement to client grounds and gardens is identified and carried out
• Ensure quotes for clients are prepared within the time frame agreed with the client
• Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of contracts
• Lead guide and mentor turf & horticultural staff
• Ensure all employees in their teams are inducted and receive ongoing on-the-job training
• Relationship building and customer relationship management

About You

• A qualification in either Horticulture or Sports Turf Management is essential
• Proven experience in a similar role
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• A positive attitude towards working safely and a commitment to upholding our companys health and safety culture
• Full drivers licence
