Reporting to the Commercial Contract Manager youll play a key role in supporting the commercial management of major infrastructure projects ensuring compliance with head contract and subcontract obligations while helping deliver strong commercial outcomes.
Working closely with Procurement Project Teams and subcontractors youll provide commercial support across the full project lifecycle including contract administration payment schedules variations extension of time claims subcontract compliance and contractual reporting.

What Youll Do
Support the commercial management of head contracts work orders and subcontract agreements.
Assist Procurement in preparing tender packages evaluating submissions and executing subcontract agreements.
Prepare payment schedules in accordance with Security of Payment legislation.
Assess administer and maintain registers for subcontract variations and extension of time claims.
Monitor subcontractor compliance including insurances bank guarantees notices and contractual obligations.
Assist with the preparation and administration of contract notices claims and dispute resolution activities.
Support project teams in maintaining compliance with head contract obligations and procurement procedures.
Develop strong working relationships with project teams procurement stakeholders subcontractors and suppliers.

Tertiary qualification in Construction Business Commerce or a related discipline.
Experience in contract administration within engineering construction infrastructure or utilities environments.
Strong understanding of contract terms subcontract management and commercial administration processes.
Experience managing variations claims payment schedules and contract compliance requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
High attention to detail and the ability to interpret and apply contractual terms and conditions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong administrative capabilities.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
