Currently we have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven professional to join the Marketing & Digital team as a Content - Team Leader.
About the role:
Lead and develop a team of four content producers while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day planning creation optimisation and publishing of content. This is a hands-on role that combines people leadership with content delivery requiring you to work directly on content projects develop content strategies analyse performance and create high-quality service and brand content across multiple channels. You will be responsible for shaping and implementing omnichannel content strategies maintaining content governance and standards and championing customer experience and best-practice publishing approaches.
Stakeholder engagement is a key aspect of the role. Working closely with subject matter experts and colleagues across the business you will develop clear engaging and customer-focused content that meets user needs and supports business objectives. From planning and writing content through to publishing and optimisation youll play an active role in delivering content that informs engages and improves the customer experience.

What you can expect with this role:
- Lead and develop a high-performing content team by planning and prioritising workloads allocating resources to business priorities championing content excellence and best practice fostering an inclusive and collaborative team culture.
- Lead the development and operationalisation of content strategies aligned with business objectives while establishing effective content governance workflows and operating models that enable the content team to deliver consistent high-quality outcomes.
- Lead the planning creation publishing coordination and optimisation of digital and print content across multiple formats (written visual audio and interactive) with a strong focus on website content management and delivery.
- Provide direction and influence internal and external stakeholders content specialists and cross-functional teams to produce and deliver customer-centric content and improved digital experiences.
- Manage content budgets ensuring alignment with the content strategy business objectives audience needs and channel best practice. Provide strategic direction and advice on optimising channel spend to maximise content reach engagement and business impact through effective channel selection and amplification.
- Ensure and drive the application of customer insights user research Voice of Customer (VOC) analytics and performance data to identify customer needs address pain points and continuously improve content performance and KPI outcomes.
Your skills and experience:
- Considerable experience in developing and coordinating engaging written and visual content across a variety of print and digital platforms informed by interpreting analytics and reporting insights.
- Demonstrated experience managing content budgets ensuring alignment with the content strategy business objectives audience needs and channel best practice. Proven ability to provide strategic direction and advice on optimising channel spend to maximise content reach engagement and business impact through effective channel selection and amplification.
- Previous experience leading teams and managing performance including goal setting performance reviews and professional development.
- Experience in developing and operationalising content strategies aligned with organisational goals with a proven track record of establishing effective content governance workflows and operating models that enable content teams to deliver consistent high-quality outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in managing competing priorities allocating resources and delivering projects and operational outcomes on time and within scope.
- Strong digital literacy including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and an understanding of how to apply website accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1.
