The Container Park Supervisor PM Shift will oversee the day-to-day operations of the yard and lead the Empty Container Park Team.
This is a hands-on role for someone with experience in a container yard or transport environment who can confidently lead a team manage the workload and keep the operation running safely and efficiently.
What you will be doing
- Lead and support the Empty Container Park Team including allocating work and providing training.
- Oversee the movement and stacking of empty containers ensuring they are correctly placed by shipping line container type and grade.
- Manage day-to-day yard operations and work with customers drivers and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Identify ways to improve yard processes and support a safe and productive work environment.
- Provide feedback and guidance to the team and assist with other container park duties as required.
Do you have
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a similar transport/yard role.
- Experience working in a similar environment with a current Forklift Licence (LF).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A hands-on approach strong safety focus and the ability to work well with others
- Reach Stacker Licence is desirable.
Additional information: Successful applicants will be required to complete a drug and alcohol screening police check and provide a pre employment medical.
