An excellent opportunity is available for Consultant Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to join a well-established public hospital within a major metropolitan health service.
The service is seeking to appoint two permanent Consultants totalling 2.0 FTE with flexibility to consider full-time fractional part-time or sessional arrangements.

The opportunity
Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team you will provide high-quality specialist obstetric and gynaecological care to a large and growing community.

You will:

• Deliver comprehensive inpatient and outpatient specialist services
• Provide clinical leadership across the Obstetrics and Gynaecology service
• Promote patient safety clinical governance and continuous improvement
• Supervise educate and support doctors in training and other healthcare professionals
• Work closely with the Head of Department and fellow Consultants
• Contribute to service planning and the achievement of clinical and operational standards

Essential requirements
Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain:

• Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
• Fellowship of RANZCOG or an equivalent specialist qualification recognised in Australia
• Appropriate clinical credentials and scope of practice in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
