About the Role

As part of the Strategy Governance and Compliance team within the Talent Reward and Mobility (TRM) Centre of Expertise you will shape and steward the frameworks that underpin how we reward recognise and retain our people. This role contributes specialist advice that supports transparent consistent and strategically aligned decision-making across the University.

You will work across a diverse portfolio of activities from managing project work and undertaking detailed analysis and benchmarking to preparing highquality papers and submissions for Council and its committees. Youll play a key role in supporting the People Selection and Remuneration Committee (PSRC) ensuring matters for the Committees consideration are informed defensible and aligned with Monashs strategic priorities.

A core focus of the role is strengthening our compliance and governance frameworks. You will provide specialist advice across academic professional and executive cohorts ensuring remuneration decisions reflect our EVP legislative obligations and sector best practice. Your work will also contribute to pay equity analysis risk monitoring and the digitisation and automation of processes helping us build a modern datadriven and futurefocused approach to reward.

About You

You bring deep expertise in governance remuneration or related advisory roles with the ability to translate complex data and frameworks into clear evidencebased insights. Your judgement is sound your attention to detail is exceptional and youre comfortable navigating sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.

You thrive in environments where accuracy integrity and strategic alignment matter. Youre experienced in preparing highquality submissions for senior decisionmakers and you understand the importance of defensible recommendations transparent processes and strong governance guardrails. You leverage strong analytical capability to interpret market trends model remuneration scenarios and convey clear practical and wellreasoned advice.

You build strong relationships with ease and are proactive solutionsfocused and committed to continuous improvement particularly in modernising processes and embedding digital and predictive capabilities. Above all youre motivated by contributing to a function that ensures Monashs remuneration practices are fair consistent and aligned with our strategic goals and work that blends analytical depth with meaningful impact.
