- Experienced Consultant Anaesthetists seeking regional leadership and lifestyle balance
- New Fellows or Provisional Fellows within 12 months of FANZCA
- Specialists wanting to develop subspecialty interests in:
- Perioperative medicine
- Regional anaesthesia
- Point-of-care ultrasound
- Pain medicine
- Education and training
You will work across a broad and rewarding caseload including:
- General surgery
- Orthopaedics
- Urology
- Vascular surgery
- ENT
- Obstetrics & gynaecology
- Paediatric surgery
- Cardiology respiratory and radiology procedures
- 10 operating theatres across two campuses
- Intensive Care Unit support
- Two busy Emergency Departments
- Accredited ANZCA training registrars
- Strong academic links with the University of New South Wales Rural Clinical School
Applicants must hold:
- FANZCA or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
- Specialist AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
- Commitment to patient-centred care
- Interest in teaching and mentoring
- Understanding of clinical governance and quality improvement
- Competitive specialist remuneration under state EBA arrangements
