Consultant Anaesthetist Regional Victoria/NSW Border

We are seeking two Consultant Anaesthetists to join a cohesive team of more than 20 FANZCA specialists within a modern and growing regional service.

    • Point-of-care ultrasound

Clinical Exposure
You will work across a broad and rewarding caseload including:
  • General surgery
  • Orthopaedics
  • Urology
  • Vascular surgery
  • ENT
  • Obstetrics & gynaecology
  • Paediatric surgery
  • Cardiology respiratory and radiology procedures
The service includes:
  • 10 operating theatres across two campuses
  • Intensive Care Unit support
  • Two busy Emergency Departments
  • Accredited ANZCA training registrars
  • Strong academic links with the University of New South Wales Rural Clinical School
Essential Requirements
Applicants must hold:
  • FANZCA or equivalent recognised specialist qualification
  • Specialist AHPRA registration (or eligibility)
  • Commitment to patient-centred care
  • Interest in teaching and mentoring
  • Understanding of clinical governance and quality improvement
