About the Role

Were looking for a curious and driven AI & Data Consultant to join our growing AI capability working closely with our Head of Innovation Data & AI.

This role sits at the forefront of emerging AI solutions where youll help design and deliver agentic AI use cases that optimise business processes both internally and for our clients. From automating workflows to enabling smarter decision-making your work will directly impact how organisations adopt and scale AI.

What Youll Do

• Design and deliver AI-driven solutions that optimise business processes and decision-making
• Build and configure agentic AI solutions using platforms like Copilot Claude and Gemini
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI adoption and innovation
• Translate business challenges into practical AI use cases and solutions
• Contribute to internal AI capability development including experimentation and knowledge sharing
• Support both internal initiatives and client-facing engagements across government and enterprise

What Were Looking For

• 1 years experience developing or experimenting with AI and automation solutions (including personal projects)
• Experience or exposure to agentic AI or building AI-powered workflows/agents using modern platforms
• Foundational technical skills in Python with a solid understanding of data and AI concepts
• Demonstrated ability to work with and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver outcomes
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work in ambiguity and rapidly evolving environments
• A passion for AI and continuous learning with evidence of self-driven projects or experimentation

• Baseline clearance (or ability to obtain)
• Canberra or Sydney based

xAmplify partners with a diverse client base including Federal Government Defense Enterprise State Government and Private Sector. As a result our eligibility criteria may vary depending on the projects you may undertake

Our Federal Government and Defence Projectswill require:

• Australian Citizenship
• An active Baseline (or higher) security clearance or the ability to obtain one

Our Enterprise State Government Local Government and Private Sector Projectswill require:

Location

Were flexible! If youre in Canberra or Sydney youll have the opportunity to connect with us in person in our offices. Our team operates on a hybrid work model so you will have the ability to work from our office client sites (as required with your allocated projects) or from home.

• For this role we are seeking individuals wanting to join our team on a permanent full-time basis

Salary

• For this role we are offering a total remuneration package (base salary 12% super) range of $100800 $134400
