The Role:

MCA Engineering has developed a dedicated and motivated workforce with a broad range of expertise and a sincere customer focus. Due to an increase in work in Mt Isa we are seeking experienced local personnel to join our team for a 1218 month surface project including:

• Concreters
• Carpenters
• Fitters
• Poly Welders
• Trade Assistants
• Operators

Starting Indicative Pay Rates (under Enterprise Agreement):

• Trade Assistant (Level 2): $45.70/hr
• Poly Welder (Level 5/6): $57-61/hr
• Operator (Level 5/6): $57-61/hr
• Concreters / Carpenters / Fitters (Level 6): $61.39/hr(Rates dependent on skills experience and role)

About You:

• Locally based in Mt Isa
• Current drivers licence
• Relevant qualifications and tickets
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Mining experience is advantageous
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A testing
• Operators must have either crane or excavator bobcat & loader licence
• Concreters must have experience in concrete finishing including smoothing leveling and surface detailing
• Additional tickets and experience that would be highly regarded include: Rigging Dogging Franna Non Slew Excavator ticket HR Licence
