The City of Busselton is seeking a proactive and detail-orientedCompliance Officer Residential Pool BarrierInspector to join our team. This is a rewardingopportunity for someone who enjoys working independently engagingwith the community and applying legislation to help keep residentssafe.

About the role:

This position plays a vital role in ensuring residential poolbarriers across the City meet legislative safety requirements -helping to protect families and prevent accidents.

You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering theCitys pool inspection program working with homeowners andstakeholders to achieve compliance and supporting broadercompliance functions relating to planning building and locallaws.

This is a dynamic role that combines inspections customerengagement administration and regulatory enforcement. This is afull time position however flexible working hours or part time canbe considered.

• Residential pool barrier inspections and compliance
• Regulatory and enforcement activities
• Customer service and stakeholder engagement
• Administrative and corporate responsibilities

What youll bring to the role:

• Strong ability to interpret and apply legislation
• Well-developed communication (written and verbal) skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Confidence using computer systems and databases
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and manage conflict
• A practical fair and solutions-focused approach to compliance

Pre-employment requirements:

• Current C Class Drivers Licence
• National Police Clearance not more than six months old
• Proof of right to work in Australia
