Complex Support Worker Locations – Caboolture and Sunshine Coast

The ideal candidates will have solid experience supporting people with disabilities and a strong commitment to personcentred care.

Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours such as verbal and physical aggression while encouraging independence growth and community reintegration.

On-going work with consistent hours.

Key responsibilities of this role will include

• Support clients in achieving their goals by providing direct care in accordance with the individuals PSBP and company guidelines
• Navigate challenging behaviours such as verbal and physical aggression while encouraging independence growth and reintegration into the community
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation including shift notes incident reports and other relevant records
• Benefit from thoughtful client matching to ensure rewarding and meaningful work

Must be available to work a minimum of 3 days per week on an ongoing basis within the following time frames:

• 6am-2pm
• 2pm-10pm
• sleepover or actives 10pm-0600am

Requirements

Valid Drivers Licence

Access to a comprehensive insured car

NDIS Module Quality Safety & You

NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) for paid employment

Blue Card (WWCC) for paid employment

Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours using approved techniques.
