Community Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced Community Support Worker to join our Frankston team on a casual basis.

THE ROLE

• Deliver care and support for clients in line with Care Plans including but not limited to respite dressing and undressing grooming toileting
• Actively support and promote client wellness and reablement goals
• Support carers by providing meaningful and enjoyable experiences to a client that meet the needs of the client as documented in the Care Plan

SALARY: Salary will be $70557.77 - $72769.70 pro rata per annum or $35.70737 - $36.82678 per hour based on skills and experience plus superannuation.

To be considered for the role and be successful in it were looking for an Community Support Worker who has the following key skills and experiences:

• Relevant qualification such as Certificate III in Individual support or Aged Care or equivalent
• Experience/training in working with/assisting older people people with disabilities and/or dementia demonstrating sensitivity to the needs of people from different economic and diverse backgrounds
• Demonstrated knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office Programs including Word Excel and Outlook
• Current Victorian Drivers License and an ability to drive a mini bus
• Experience in developing organising facilitating and evaluating inclusive community recreation and leisure activities
• Hold a valid food handling certificate of willingness to obtain one within the first few month of employment
