Job Summary
- Provide meaningful care to clients inside their own homes
- Generous rates salary packaging Minimum of 3 days of availability (Monday - Friday 8am-4pm)
- Support clients in Wangaratta and surrounding areas
The position
As a Community Support Assistant you will provide personalised care and support to ageing clients within their homes and community.
The role focuses on helping clients maintain their independence wellbeing and quality of life through assistance with daily living activities social support personal care domestic assistance and transport services where required.

Highly focused on person-centred care youll be across a range of communication strategies to promote positive interpersonal exchanges and interactions. All while completing accurate records and assisting to create safe and healthy environments for clients.
Whats required
- Certificate III in Aged Care Individual Support (Aging) or equivalent or Certificate IV in Aged care or Ageing Support
- A current Victorian drivers licence and access to a fully insured (comprehensive) registered vehicle for travel between client homes
- Willingness to obtain - First Aid CPR & Police check
- Previous experience at an Aged Care facility (desired)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to converse and relate to older people with understanding patience and sensitivity
- Strong commitment to client service and care
- Team focused and supportive of colleagues
- Able to work without supervision
- Self-motivated and positive in outlook
- Ability to prioritise and organise to meet timeframes
