Community Care Worker (Centre-Based)

Locations: Multiple across Melbourne including Hughesdale Brunswick and Sunshine

Employment Type: Fixed-term Part-time (until 30/06/2027)

Hours: 5-6 hours per day (varied days)

What you will be doing

Youll be at the heart of our vibrant day centres helping older members of the Greek community connect have fun and enjoy life! From supporting social catch-ups to joining in recreational physical and educational activities youll help create memorable moments every day.

Your role is all about bringing people together sparking smiles and making a real differencehelping our clients live their best days with energy laughter and connection.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Understanding of working with elderly from different cultural linguistic and health backgrounds
• Have a positive and professional attitude
• Have strong English written and oral skills
• Fluency in Greek language is strongly considered
• The ability to work independently and part of a team
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent or willingness to enrol within 3 months ofemployment
• Current certificates in First Aid and CPR or willingness to complete the course
• Current driver licence and access to own vehicle.
• Undergo Criminal History Record Check at the required intervals
