Your Role

The Cathedral College is seeking an organised efficient and energetic person to join the Communications team as a Communications Officer. This is a term-time continuing position (38hpw) for commencement as soon as possible or as negotiated with the successful applicant.

The Communications Officer assists with supporting the communication and engagement functions of the College. This position fosters and maintains relationship and communications with current families students staff and the wider community while also assisting with marketing and promotions activities to families prospective to the College.

This position requires a proactive individual who values attention to detail can manage a variety of administrative tasks in a school environment to ultimately support opportunities for young people to flourish.

About you

The successful applicant will have an understanding of and a commitment to the values of Catholic addition you will have excellent time management skills well developed interpersonal skills and a high proficiency of computer skills. Experience with marketing content creation and social media management using platforms such as Wix Adobe Indesign Photoshop and Facebook would be advantageous.

Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential. We value individuals who are committed to continuous growth and are eager to learn and contribute to our educational communities.
