About the Employer
Our client is an established engineering construction and operations business delivering transport building water and other infrastructure works across Australia. Its multidisciplinary teams support the development and operation of assets used by local communities.

The Opportunity
Guide complex road-infrastructure control systems from construction into operational readiness. Lead testing and commissioning across plant controls management systems communications networks and intelligent transport systems.

Your Work
Develop the commissioning strategy and schedule and oversee factory and system tests from Level 0 through Level 5.
Approve test procedures inspection plans and records and manage verification and validation.
Coordinate vendors subcontractors and engineering disciplines to resolve interface and technical issues.
Track defects risks and recovery actions through close-out maintaining safety and quality standards.
Prepare progressively complete test results as-built records operating manuals and handover evidence; guide commissioning engineers.

Requirements
Skills Education and Requirements
Degree in automation control engineering or a related discipline.
At least five years in construction including two years in a comparable commissioning or control-systems leadership position.
Experience commissioning complex control systems; road-tunnel or major infrastructure exposure is desirable.
Strong PLC monitoring control software and technical-documentation knowledge.
Proven team leadership subcontractor coordination and commissioning validation and handover capability.
