About the role:

At Juniper we believe in more than just serving meals we create nourishing welcoming dining experiences for our residents and customers. Our Rowethorpe Catering facility in Bentley is seeking a dedicated and reliable Commercial Kitchenhand to help keep our kitchen operations running smoothly.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy team-focused environment takes pride in cleanliness and food safety and enjoys supporting chefs and kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the highest standards of kitchen cleanliness hygiene and food safety.
• Wash and sanitize dishes utensils and cooking equipment.
• Assist with basic food preparation such as chopping peeling and portioning.
• Support chefs and kitchen staff during service.
• Ensure meals are delivered to Juniper sites promptly and efficiently.
• Operate Juniper cafes providing friendly food and beverage service.
• Manage waste disposal and assist with receiving unpacking and storing deliveries.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service and great customer experiences.

Key Requirements:

• Current drivers license youll be delivering meals to Juniper sites.
• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen café restaurant catering service or other hospitality environment.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to meet the demands of the role.
• Food Safety Handling Certificate (Level 1 or 2)
• Certificate I or II in Kitchen Operations (or equivalent)
• First Aid Certificate desirable.
