About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist within our ICU you will provide expert clinical care and leadership support patient outcomes and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will act as a clinical resource for nursing staff mentor team members and contribute to evidence-based practice within the unit.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering advanced patient-centred care to critically ill patients
• Providing clinical leadership guidance and support to nursing colleagues
• Promoting evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives
• Assisting with staff education coaching and professional development
• Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Supporting a positive safe and high-performing team culture

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 4 years post-graduate nursing experience including significant ICU experience
• Postgraduate qualifications in Critical Care Nursing (or working towards)
• Demonstrated clinical expertise in intensive care nursing
• Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and service excellence
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment
