Applications are invited from motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurses for the position Clinical Nurse Orthopaedics- Theatres. We are looking for an organised enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse with a desire to take a leadership role in managing the hospitals Orthopaedic portfolio.

About the role:

• Managing and organising Orthopaedic needs for the department Including:

  • Equipment

  • Instruments

  • Loan sets and implants

• Reviewing the day-to-day needs of the speciality to ensure that we have what is required to deliver the highest standard of care.

• Educating junior staff in specialty

About you:

• Currently Registered as a Nurse with AHPRA

• Minimum 5 years recent theatre nursing experience

• Sound knowledge of ACORN standards / ACHS Accreditation Standards

• Strategic minded thinker

• Ability to engage with all members of staff

• Excellent communication style written and verbal

• Ability to meet deadlines

• Professional leadership experience

• Work collaboratively with the management team

• Proficient in electronic databases and ability to adapt to changing platforms

• Knowledge of labour management / KPIs

If you are successful you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch Nurses & Midwives Enterprise Agreement - 2024 (Agreement or Enterprise Agreement) (salaries range between $53.24 -$58.14 per hour).
