As the Clinical Nurse Educator you will:

• Lead and coordinate education training and professional development across Mental Health Services
• Support graduate nurses new staff and students through orientation supervision and competency development
• Promote evidence-based practice and contemporary mental health care
• Drive mandatory training compliance and competency frameworks
• Partner with Nurse Unit Managers and leadership team to identify learning needs and workforce capability gaps
• Provide clinical leadership support and role modelling to nursing staff
• Contribute to quality improvement patient safety and clinical governance initiatives

Reporting to the Director of Nursing. this role is integral to building a sustainable and highly skilled mental health workforce at Northpark Private Hospital

Northpark is a leading private hospital in Melbournes northern corridor providing:

• Early Parenting Adult and Older Persons Psychiatry Services
• Evidence-based inpatient and group therapy programs
• Neurostimulation services including ECT esKetamine and TMS
• A strong multidisciplinary model of care
• As well as surgery and maternity service.

Essential Criteria:

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Significant experience in Mental Health Nursing
• Demonstrated clinical leadership and education experience
• Sound knowledge of clinical governance quality and safety standards
• Excellent communication coaching and facilitation skills
• Postgraduate qualification in mental health nursing (preferably at Masters level)
• Certificate IV Workplace Assessment & Training (desirable)
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (desirable)
