About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Lead Educator. This is a full-time contract for a maternity leave cover looking after children aged 3-4 years old.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Run the program for the pre-kindy classroom
- Support childrens learning and development through individual and small group activities.
- Build positive relationships with children families teachers and colleagues.
- Prepare learning resources and complete administrative tasks including data entry filing and document preparation.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities break times excursions and special events.
- Contribute to a safe nurturing and high-quality learning environment that meets National Quality Standards.
- Provide guidance and support to fellow educators and step into the Responsible Person role when required.
- Attend team meetings and assist with general operational duties as directed by the Head of Early Learning.
Essential Qualifications and Licenses
- Have a current Positive Notice Blue Card.
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is the minimum requirement.
- First Aid CPE Anapphylaxis and Asthma
- Must be willing to act as a responsible person when required
