Were looking for an experienced Mental Health Clinician to lead the clinical delivery of headspace Esperance supporting young people and helping shape the future of youth mental health services in the region.

This is an opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with leadership mentoring and service development while living and working in one of Western Australias most stunning coastal communities.

Whats the opportunity

In this leadership role you will:

  • Lead clinical practice and support quality service delivery across headspace Esperance
  • Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to clinicians and counsellors
  • Support young people with complex mental health and wellbeing needs
  • Facilitate intake case review and clinical decision-making processes
  • Build strong partnerships with local services and community stakeholders
  • Help shape innovative programs that respond to community needs
  • Foster a positive collaborative and supportive team culture

Were looking for someone who:

  • Is a registered Psychologist Social Worker Occupational Therapist Mental Health Nurse or other suitably qualified Mental Health Clinician
  • Has experience working with young people experiencing mental health challenges
  • Enjoys mentoring and supporting other clinicians
  • Can confidently manage complex clinical presentations
  • Builds positive relationships with clients families and community partners
  • Brings initiative compassion and a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Values culturally safe and inclusive practice

Transferable experience welcome

If youve worked in community mental health youth services hospital settings private practice or other clinical leadership roles wed love to hear from you.

Essential Requirements

  • Registration with AHPRA or AASW (as applicable)
  • Mental health clinical experience
  • Experience providing professional supervision or leadership support
  • Current drivers licence
  • Working with Children Check
  • National Police Clearance
