Cleaning Supervisor

Downer has been awarded a major Integrated Facilities Management contract with Stockland delivering services across a national portfolio of commercial offices retail centres logistics facilities and land lease communities. Thislong-termpartnership reflects Downers strength in managing large complex portfolios and deliveringhigh-qualityservices at scale.

We currently have an opportunity for aCleaning Supervisor to join our workforce and play a key role insupporting the effective and efficient management of properties across Stocklands national portfolio located at Stockland Burleigh Heads Town Centre.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager youll help deliver high-quality outcomes for our client and our communities.

What Youll Do

This role offers a broad scope with key responsibilities including:

• Manage times to ensure all cleaning duties are completed within required deadlines

• Ensure cleaning programs are implemented based on approved systems and techniques

• Assist with the maintenance and coordination of the departments activities and functions such that outcomes are achieved constantly

• Care and maintenance of all cleaning equipment

• Provide direction guidance and leadership to ensure that staff present themselves their equipment and the department to the highest standards

• Follow health and safety procedures while completing tasks efficiently and maintaining a professional approach

What Youll Bring

• 2-5 years commercial cleaning or professional cleaning

• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

• Knowledge of safe use of cleaning equipment and chemicals

• Understanding of workplace health and safety and basic sanitation practices

• Good time management skills and ability to work independently

• Ability to follow procedures communicate effectively and report issues as required

• Certificate II or IIII Cleaning or Health Support Services or

• Certificate IV Cleaning Management - desirable

• Must have Working with Childrens Check or be willing to obtain

• Prepared to undertake necessary pre-employment checks which includes National Police Check and medical.
