About the Role
We are seeking reliable and motivated Cleaners to join the Sheldon College Cleaning team.
Working as part of a supportive team you will help maintain a clean safe and hygienic environment across classrooms administration buildings and College facilities. Responsibilities include cleaning and sanitising facilities operating cleaning equipment replenishing supplies reporting maintenance and safety concerns and supporting the presentation of our College grounds and event spaces.
This role includes responsibility for student safety and wellbeing requiring compliance with the Colleges Child Safe Standards policies and procedures and all relevant legislative and duty of care obligations.
Working Hours
- Evening shifts: 3:30pm to 7:30pm
- Monday to Friday
- Up to 20 hours per week
- Part-time and casual opportunities available

About You
- Previous commercial education or hospitality cleaning experience is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable punctual and able to work evening shifts consistently.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleaning and hygiene standards.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Commitment to safe work practices and the correct use of cleaning equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Physically capable of undertaking manual handling and cleaning duties.
- High standards of professionalism integrity and confidentiality.
